2007 Holiday Gift Guide: Gifts for Him

As promised here is the Holiday gift guide for the men in your life. I considered calling this "gifts for dads and dudes" but, well, dads are dudes. Plus not everything on here is exclusive to those of the XY chromosome set.

For the nostalgic father or for the budding DJ, I suggest these record cuff links. Incidentally, I realized my friend purchased my birthday gift - a deco moth necklace - from this etsy seller. Hm!

These give and take card holder are a great gift for the Networking Ned on your list. It may sound a little crazy (and biased) to put calling cards / business cards on this list but hear me out: they have been a successful gift for many guys I know. It's a very personal and refined gift to give which, I think, makes it a wonderful gift idea (shown: grey William Arthur business card).

A gift I have purchased and stand behind 110% is a freitag messenger bag. Made from recycled truck tarps, seat belts and bike tubes, these bags from Switzerland are durable and a bright and eco-friendly alternative to other messenger bags on the market.

The ever so popular working class heroes laptop sleeve makes a fabulous holiday gift. They also offer pouches for cameras and moleskine notebooks (not pictured) which I highly recommend as a great holiday gift for anyone on your list.

This uber organized wool wallet by etsy seller sewlutions by amo is both attractive and practical.

Every guy I know is obsessed with their lomography cameras. I'm partial to the Holga though I have yet to join the cult that is Lomo.

worn again makes amazingly comfortable shoes using a hodgepodge of recycled materials. My boyfriend has two pairs of these shoes (and two pairs of the VivoBarefoot shoes) and he receives constant compliments on his worn agains.

there's a reason I see the gorillapod on holiday lists year after year. They are easy to cart around and, unlike a larger and heavier tripod, it easily perches in (or wraps around) the most difficult of spaces.

Everyone from teens to grandfathers will appreciate the Burberry Exploded Check Scarf during the cold and windy winter season.

Edit: The last of the gift guides will drop on Monday. Due to an emergency situation over the holiday (and also because I attended three Thanksgiving dinners on only two hours of sleep) I did not have the time to prepare for today's planned features. The post above was, by some miracle, conceived and put together in about an hour and a half this morning. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend and I will see you next week with the last guide and some holiday entertaining ideas!
