For this installment of Wedding Wednesday, Rebecca and I decided to use a Prentiss Douthit rehearsal dinner invitation. Pulling together a mood board was something of a challenge. You can easily find tons of images for inspiring your wedding but ideas for a rehearsal dinner are far more difficult to come by. I hope this romantic peach wedding rehearsal dinner mood board gives you some inspiration!
I started with my favourite part of any board - the dress. Although this gold sequin BGBG Max Azria dress is difficult to come by, a similar style would be a great way to incorporate some of the warmth and glow of your invitation.
If your party is held in the evening, consider carefully arranging handmade candles or using a unique candelabra similar to this beautiful branch candelabra from Patina. If you're hosting a rehearsal luncheon or brunch (which are less common but not unusual), you may want a simply spray of flowers like these Japanese lilacs [via maroon michelle].
Plates with a delicate design like these lovelies from Vera Wang's lace dinnerware collection compliment the motif at the top of the invitation. A fabulous idea for holding place cards would be attaching a paper ribbon to the stem of an apricot as shown above. Of course, what would a meal be without dessert? Your guests are going to have plenty of cake on your wedding day; consider a simple dessert of grapefruit frozen yogurt or peach ice cream.
