Welcome once more to Wedding Wednesday. Today's post features touches of one of my favourite colors (one I am wearing today, actually) - green! Rebecca of Tastefully Entertaining and I simply adore this black, white and green polka dot wedding invitation by kate spade. It's formal yet fun all at once.
To carry & wear:
I love the look of a white tie on a white shirt - it's a very striking visual and perfect attire for the groom or his groomsmen. [the photo is of my friends on their wedding day!]
A pheasant boutonnière, like the ones shown above, mirrors the dotted pattern on the invitation.
Consider a spotted pheasant hair adornment to match!
A bouquet of white flowers with touches of green and black [via snippet and ink]. Optional - coordinating wreaths.
To give, eat & drink:
A simple tabletop featuring white blooms in vases with black and white ribbons carry the colors of your wedding over to the reception.
Alternating layers of dots and ribbons keep this black & white polka dot cake from being overwhelming.
A black olive martini would make an ideal signature drink.
Polka dot wedding favors filled with small treats will be sure to delight.
