Tuesday Trends: For the Birds

Today's Tuesday Trend has really taken flight* and the avian fascination shows no signs of slowing as we head into late summer and fall. Below are some beautiful birds I'm into at the moment.



Row 1: I absolutely love the delicate calligraphy details in these Love Bird Plates; wish this diaper clutch was available for non-moms [via the latest issue of Pregnancy & Newborn]; this Kate Spade Oaxaca bag is perfect for summer.

Row 2: This bird wedding / party invitation is a staff favourite - we have it hanging up in the office; send the old fashioned type of twitter on this adorable flat card; the petite bird wall hangings are sure to brighten any space [via decor8].

Row 3: A soaring ceramic bird by Alena Hennessy; bird bath soap by Pop Ink; a sweet sticker for addresses or books; this bird dress from Cynthia Vincent features a playful print.

Judging from the abundance of bird-themed stationery, invitations and announcements (not to mention businesses) I saw at the National Stationery Show, I think it's safe to say bird is the word.

PS - I didn't realize it until after the post, but my desk is incredibly bird friendly!
