Wedding Wednesday: Something Gold, Something Blue

Welcome again to Wedding Wednesday where, each week, Rebecca of Tastefully Entertaining and I selected a stationer design to inspire a wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridesmaid luncheon, bridal or couples shower. The week we selected an elegant gilded blue wedding invitation from Vera Wang as the inspiration for our mood board.

Wedding Wednesday: Something Gold, Something Blue

-Delicate cream ruffles adorn a cake of blue from Martha Stewart
-The gold silk ribbon on this sky blue wedding invitation adds a touch of class
-Looking for some table cards that do more than look pretty? These DIY table cards from once wed use small notebooks so guests can add thoughts, sketches and well wishes for the new couple
-Simple blue and gold pendant necklaces would make excellent adornments or gifts for the bridal party
-I have a soft spot for vintage tea-length dresses like this one - perfect for the reception or a modern wedding
-A lovely bird brooch
-How gorgeous is the train on this dress (and the photo)?
-Lately I've been quite enamored of hair adornments that hearken back to another era
-Finally, monogrammed favours always make for classy, sophisticated parting gifts for guests

You simply must stop by Tastefully Entertaining to see Rebecca's take on this romantic color combination. I love the elegant table tops and glittering favours she selected for today's post - here's a peak!
