Life of the Party: New Year's Eve Must Haves

This New Years Eve, take a moment to look around the room. Chances are that if you are at a swanky cocktail party, you'll see a lot of black and silver dresses. I've never quite understood why people gravitate towards black and silver for New Years Eve attire (myself included). While the little black dress is a classic, seeing so many at one party would lead one to believe that the guests had gathered to mourn the passing of the previous year, not to celebrate a new one.

This year, I set out to find attire that would really pop, that could easily add some life to the party-- after all, isn't the new year all about rebirth? When I stumbled across this stunning little number by ultra-talented designer Pamella Roland, I knew I had to build an inspiration board around it. While it's bright and bold, it also maintains a high-level of sophistication and class -- just what all of us stylish socialites need to celebrate a new year full of promise and positive possibilities.
