Friday Finds and Fine Pin

We've made it to Friday again, friends! What are your weekend plans? Wherever you find yourself, we hope you have a great time! Here are a few fun things we've spotted on the web this week:

The upcoming holiday may have put you in the mood to watch spooky movies, listen to frightening tales, or visit a few haunted houses. If you're really adventurous, why not put your fears aside and visit a REAL haunted establishment. Real Simple highlights 13 of the most haunted places to visit {here}.

If you're not one for haunted celebrations, and plan to celebrate the birthday of a loved one, you might want to read {this blog post} from Nothing But Bonfires. Check out the most amazing gift that was put together for an older gentleman's birthday -- 60 years of memories on paper!

Starting October 9th is a new event called 52 Weeks of Mail, where people are encouraged to send one letter per week to a family member or friend. Take time from your busy schedule to connect with those that are important to you. What a great project! Check out the details {here}. Will you participate?

Don't forget -- Event planner extraordinaire Shawn Rabideau (you may have seen him on Bethenny Getting Married) will be live on Fox News today to show you how to throw a fun and spooky Halloween party for adults. You might just spy a little something from FineStationery.com! Tune in {here} at 12:45 EST today!

This Friday's Fine Pin will get you in the Halloween spirit. This fun cupcake topper is the perfect accent for the holiday, and would be great for school parties or your own spooky bash! Be sure to visit our Halloween Magic pinboard on Pinterest for other great ideas!
