Sincerely: A Conversation with Wild Heart Events Part V

Welcome to the final snippet of expert advice from professional wedding guru, Jaime Kostechko from Wild Heart Events. During the past couple weeks, we have featured Jaime's advice for all aspects of planning so if you missed any, you can catch up here. Full of intelligent advice and creative inspiration, these interviews aim to help brides plan their wedding the stress-free way.

This week we talked to Jaime about ever changing wedding trends and how to prepare yourself for the important day. Take a look at the photos of an adorable first look and get inspired to make your big day meaningful.

Q : What recent trends do you see brides & grooms incorporating to make their day special?
A : I feel like things are evolving so quickly these days. Photo-booths have turned into video-booths, slo-mo booths and social media networks. I feel like our clients are worried less about tradition and more about making their events reflect themselves.
The first look is so popular for brides and grooms to have a special moment to see each other BEFORE the ceremony. This first look between a beautiful couple really show how special this moment can be. The moment you first see each other can be emotional so sometimes it's nice to be able to experience it privately. Have your photographer capture this special moment for memorable photos like these.

Q : What tips would you give the couple on how to be most prepared for the day-of events?
A : Hire a planner. If you hire a good planner, they will save you time and money from the start. The internet is full of contrived reviews and paid advertising so it's hard to get a straight answer about a lot of things. Interview 3 different planners and see who you connect with and who you can trust to curate your wedding.

We would like to thank Jaime for listening to our questions and providing fabulous answers. Visit the Wild Heart Events site for tons of inspiration and to learn more about Jaime and her amazing team!
