Instead of hosting a White Elephant Party this Holiday season, consider hosting a Wine Exchange!

Invite guests to wrap a bottle of their favorite wine in a festive bag or paper to participate. Once the exchange has taken place, have each guest open his or her bottle and let the original gift giver explain why the wine is his or her favorite (Was it the wine she drank on the first date with her husband? Does it pair really well with a favorite pasta dish?).  A wine exchange can be a wonderful ice breaker for any Holiday party, and also provides guests the opportunity to explore new wine varieties that have been tried and tested by friends.
